Most couples do a test lesson first so we can check your current Dutch level and match you with the right tutor.
If after the explore call it’s very clear what you need, you can start directly with a package, but we still recommend at least one test lesson before committing to a larger number of hours.
How much does it cost and how do payments work?
Our online 2‑on‑1 packages start from €1020 (€510 per student).
You can either pay in full (with a small discount) or spread the cost over monthly instalments.
All prices include VAT; Dutch language lessons are VAT‑exempt under education rules.
How many hours do I need to reach Dutch language level A2 / B1 / B2?
It depends on your starting point and how much time you have for homework, but as a rule of thumb:
- A‑levels (A0→A1 or A1→A2): about 20–30 lesson hours
- B‑levels (A2→B1 or B1→B2): about 40–60 lesson hours

Do you have dedicated Inburgering / NT2 exam tracks?
Yes, we provide Dutch lessons focused on inburgering and NT2 exams as well. We usually work in two phases:
- First we get you to the required level (A2, B1 or B2).
- Then we focus on exam strategy: practicing with old exams, timing, and how to structure your answers.
I’m anxious about speaking / my pronunciation. Can you help with that?
A lot of our students feel nervous speaking Dutch, especially after group courses where they felt exposed.
In 2‑on‑1 Dutch lessons, you’ll be working with a supportive tutor who corrects you kindly and works on pronunciation at your pace. Meanwhile, your learning partner gives you extra support and motivation. Many reviews mention increased confidence as one of the biggest wins.
What happens if I need to pause or my schedule changes?
You don’t have to be perfect.

How do payment plans work?

With monthly installments the payments are done per month, but your Dutch lessons for couples can be planned in a shorter timeframe if you want.
What if it’s not a good fit?
If by your 3rd lesson you feel it’s not a good fit, you can stop and get the remaining hours of your package refunded according to our policy.
You can also switch tutors if the match finally doesn’t feel right for one or both of you, just talk to us and we’ll help.
